March 27th, 2026, marked the official conclusion of the BioInnovation Africa (BIA) project. Launched in 2021, this 5-year partnership between GIZ, V. MANE FILS, and FLORIBIS has successfully transformed the natural resource landscape in Vohémar.

Sustainable Standards: Alignment of the Ylang-ylang value chain with UNCTAD BioTrade principles.
Economic Resilience: Creation of sustainable income streams for local communities, reducing financial vulnerability.
Partnership Power: Essential grassroots impact driven by local associations FTMAF, FIMYTA, ASYMA, and FMY.
The project leaves behind a scalable model for biodiversity-based business in the SAVA region. A huge thank you to all stakeholders for this remarkable journey.

As part of the Fanambana project (forest conservation and restoration initiative for the Analalava massif), Floribis invites tenders for the installation of a barbed wire fence.
The scope includes demarcating a 70-hectare area and securing the restoration site in Fanambana, Vohémar district.
The selected contractor will have 75 days to complete the work, subject to prior submission of a technical proposal outlining a 2 to 2.5 months schedule, along with a financial proposal separating material costs from labor and resources. Deadline: April 15, 2026

The pink peppercorn (Schinus terebinthifolius) stands as one of Madagascar's flagship botanical resources. It represents a vital source of income for numerous rural communities, particularly in the Farafangana region, where Floribis actively develops and structures the supply chain.
As part of this development plan, supporting partner farmers beyond technical and logistical aspects serves as a central pillar.
During the lean season—a critically vulnerable period for agricultural households—targeted assistance was deployed:
240 farmers supported Distribution of 25 kg of rice per farmer
This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening the stability of our partner producers, securing crop continuity, and fostering the long-term resilience of the supply chain.
As part of this development plan, supporting partner farmers beyond technical and logistical aspects serves as a central pillar.
